One of the greatest athletes in the history of British athletics, Colin Jackson is the reigning world record holder at 110mh outdoors and at 60mh. Colin Jackson has enjoyed a top three ranking in the world from 1987, lapsing only in 1995. He broke onto the international scene when he took the bronze medal in the Rome World Championships in 1987. The following year he went one better, claiming the Silver Medal at The Seoul Olympics. Awarded the MBE in 1990. Sports Writers Association sportsman of the year 1994, British Athletics Writers Athlete of the Year 1993-4.
