As a charity our objectives are to advance the knowledge, understanding and practice of leadership. We do this, in part, by providing charities access to our leadership development programmes through bursaries.
Equipping the leaders of charities with the skills necessary to steer the organisation through rough and smooth times, directing it to grow and develop as the world changes, is essential. Our bursary scheme provides for individuals and groups to receive leadership development training at very special rates.
Attending our open programmes, directors and senior managers of charities may be eligible to pay only a small administration fee.
A board or executive team development programme can be match funded by The Leadership Trust Foundation.
Many charities have benefited from our bursaries. Here are a few of those we helped in 2008:
Africa Now, Cinemagic Now,Comic relief, Concern Universal, Fairbridge, Forum for the Future, Girlguiding UK, Isle of Man Childrens Centre, Leeds Housing Concern, New Economic Foundation, Papworth Trust, Raleigh International, Rascals, RNID, St Dunstan's, St Giles Trust, Storybook Dads, Team Rector of Wellington, The Children's Trust, The Courtyard Theatre, Wildscreen, World Vision.
