Harriet Harmon once remarked that if Lehman Brothers had been called Lehman Sisters the recent banking crisis and subsequent economic recession may have been averted. Perhaps. But perhaps if the private and public sector had looked to the voluntary sector example; that of innovation, constant change and always with an eye on the budget, they may have learnt something.
