LTMBA

In partnership with the University of Strathclyde Graduate School of Business (USGSB), we have developed this unique MBA degree with a specialism in Leadership Studies (MBA/LS). The MBA combines the development of practical leadership skills with the intellectual depth you would expect from a top AMBA, EQUIS and AACSB accredited university business school. Using a unique integration of learning methods, the programme aims to develop participants’ potential to become outstanding leaders.

Admissions Criteria

The MBA/LS is specifically aimed at directors and high-potential managers.  It has been designed for people who are looking for a solid, up-to-date grounding in business and general management, but with a focus on the development of outstanding leadership skills.

To be eligible for admission, candidates for the MBA/LS will need to have either a recognised UK university degree, or an equivalent academic qualification from a non-UK institution, or an equivalent professional qualification, plus at least three years' subsequent work experience, or at least 10 years' relevant work experience for initial admission to the Diploma programme and later transfer to the MBA/LS on satisfactory progress. The minimum age for entry is 24 years.

Key Features and Objectives

The MBA/LS provides the core curriculum of the Strathclyde MBA, the internationally recognised senior management qualification.

The specialism in Leadership studies blends an inter-disciplinary understanding of business functions, strategy and strategic thinking with an understanding of the leadership process and the practical development of leadership skills.

Enhances self-awareness, self-control and self-confidence through practical leadership and teamwork situations.

Combines the development of practical leadership skills at one of Europe's foremost leadership development organisations with the intellectual depth of a top university.
